Why do Christians fear critical thinkers and open-mindedness?

they are afraid the critical thinkers and open-minders are going to prove them wrong. Half the time they may be confused about what they believe and are upset by being proved wrong. They don't like people who are not like them. And nobody will respond negatively to this because that just means they are insecure about what they believe. not trying to categorize anybody not all are like this. But the ones that do, that is why.
