Would a Striped Raphael live peacefully with a Senegal Bichir?

The tank would be more than sufficient to last them their entire lives. My question is if they would live peacefully without attempting to eat one another. The bichir is currently sufficiently larger than the Raphael. But I could hold the Raphael in another tank until he grew to a large enough size. I just need to know if the Bichir will still attempt to eat him.
